Technology with Teens: Distraction or Engagement?

Tech it Easy with Children and Teenagers is a very appropriate theme for the Pre Conference Event at International Association of English as a Foreign Language. The event will take place at the University of Ashton in Birmingham on April 12, 2016. I will be discussing Technology with Teens: Distraction or Engagement? Download the brochure here: Joint the PCE Birmingham 2016.

Introduction to the Technology with Teens

Learning to Focus

Learning to pay attention is essential to learning both in and out of the classroom. Most of us and our students know how to focus on what is meaningful and interests us. Having control on what others want us to pay attention to, may not be as easy and may require practice. What exercises can we do in and out of the classroom to tune in to specific items and tune out others?

Learning to Pay Attention

I have created a public Padlet wall where teachers can collaborate and share exercises on how to get young learners to pay attention in the classroom.
